Join Santa Claus and Good Will Fire Company No. 1, Trexlertown, for the annual Santa Run 10 a.m. to 3:25 p.m. Dec. 17.

Goodies will be handed out to children at many locations throughout the fire company coverage area.

The Sunday School of Zion’s Union Church Maxatawny, 329 Church Road, Kutztown, will present a Live Nativity Dec. 10.

Shows will be given every half-hour beginning at 5 p.m.

Anyone from third grade through adult is welcome to help.

Ziegels Union Church, 9990 Ziegels Church Road, Breinigsville, will be have its Wreaths Across America presentation noon Dec. 17 at the cemetery.

There will be a ceremony before the laying of the wreaths.

This event honors veterans who have served this country for the freedoms we have today.

Upper Macungie Township, in partnership with local sponsors, will host Kids Noon Year’s Eve Party from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 31 at Good Will Fire Company No. 1, 7723 Hamilton Blvd., Trexlertown.

This free event will provide a fun way for the whole family to celebrate the New Year without trying to stay up until midnight to ring in the New Year.

Entertainment will be provided by DJ JJ Sands and face painting by Kim Einsla.

There will also be activities, vendors, games, giveaways, concessions and a balloon drop at noon.
