Allentown Health Bureau is preparing for its opioid presentation, to be held 6 p.m. Dec. 7 at Whitehall Township Public Library. The presentation will discuss how to prevent overdoses, how to store opioids and steps to discard when no longer in use. This presentation will also discuss other methods of pain management and signs to look out for when taking opioids.

Holiday storytimes are scheduled for 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Dec. 7, 14 and 21. Each day will feature a different holiday with stories, traditions and crafts.

The Teen Advisory Board is hosting a movie event 1 p.m. Dec. 10. The featured film is “8-Bit Christmas.” The event is for those in fifth grade up to adults.

Snacks and gifts will be provided.

The library is happy to welcome back barbershop quartet ffourtissimo 6:30 p.m. Dec. 15. If you enjoy a cappella music, come hear this quartet as it delivers fun renditions of classic holiday songs, as well as a few newer tunes.
