Body identified

On Nov. 14, at approximately 4:20 pm, the Moore Township Police Department was called by two hunters who had discovered skeletal remains while hunting on Pennsylvania State Game Land in Moore Township, Northampton County. The Moore Township Police Department, Northampton County Coroner’s Office, the Forensic Services Unit from Pennsylvania State Police-Bethlehem, Pennsylvania State Game Commission, and Northampton County District Attorney, Terry Houck all assisted with the investigation. The remains were recovered and have been examined. The individual has been identified as William S. Edelman Jr. who was 65 years of age at the time of his death. Mr. Edelman was from Catasauqua, PA and was last seen on March 24, 2022. The date of death is consistent with the time at which he went missing. The cause and manner of death will be pending.
