Coroner’s COVID-19 update

Between Jan. 1 and Nov. 20, the Northampton County Coroner recorded 206 COVID-19 related deaths in Northampton County (183 residents/23 non-residents).

“Cases of COVID and other respiratory infections continue to be reported in our area and, with the holiday season approaching, there will be more opportunities for the viruses to spread,” County Executive Lamont McClure said. “I encourage everyone who is eligible to get vaccinated and boosted and to wear a mask when in the presence of someone who is vulnerable to infection.”

Official election results available

The Northampton County Elections Commission met Nov. 22 and certified the results of the Nov. 8 General Election. Official results for all races are now available on the county’s website: Conduct of Election Home Page (northamptoncounty.org)
