Press photo by Dana Grubb This year Bethlehem's Christmas lighting ceremony was held one week earlier than the traditional day after Thanksgiving, with the switch being flipped Nov. 18. The community Christmas tree with traditional white lights is the centerpiece of the Christmas City's holiday decorations. The event draws as many as 4,000 residents and visitors for hot cocoa, greetings from Santa Claus and musical performances by Swingtime Dolls, Cunningham and Associates and local school orchestras.
