The Parkland Garden Club met Oct. 10 at Jordan Lutheran Church, and instead of inviting a speaker, program Chairwoman Nancy Smith suggested having a hands-on workshop.
Members were asked to bring a small pumpkin and a glue gun, as well as leaves, acorns, seed pods, berries, nuts, goldenrod etc.
These they glued to the top of the pumpkin to create a pleasing arrangement.
The workshop was a lot of fun as members got to socialize while they got creative working on their pumpkin.
