Judith A. “Judy” Kreglow, 80, from Whitehall, died Nov. 14, 2022, peacefully in her home. She and her husband, Earl H. Kreglow, were married 59 years.
Born Feb. 11, 1942, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Simon F. and Dorothy C. (Stoudt) Faust.
She and her husband co-owned and operated the Egypt Hotel for 25 years before retiring in 2000.
Anyone who came to the Egypt Hotel on a Friday night will fondly remember her clams, chili and cheesesteaks.
She made all who walked through the door feel like family.
She was selfless, had the biggest heart and loved spoiling her grandkids.
In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by sons Boyd A. Kreglow and his wife, Tammy, of Whitehall, and Kris A. Kreglow and his wife, Debby, of Coplay; grandchildren Tabitha, Lauren Veltre and husband Josh, Logan and wife Ediona, and Jillian; and great-granddaughters Nora Veltre and Gwen Jude Kreglow.
She was predeceased by a brother, Theodore F. Faust.
