Macungie Police Department officer Daniel Wiedemann says he was experiencing a “disappointing day” at the borough's fall drug give back day, which was observed across the nation recently. Outdated, or no-longer-needed prescription drugs can be taken to area police stations on the twice-annual collection day. The drugs are incinerated by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency.
