Jane Marie Purvis, 87, of Fullerton, died Oct. 19, 2022. She was the wife of the late Joseph R. Purvis for 60 years.

Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Angelo and Lucy (Panciera) Zardus.

She was employed by the Bell Telephone Company of Pennsylvania and the University of Illinois.

She was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, Whitehall, where she was a former member of the Altar and Rosary Society and the Golden Agers and was a school volunteer.

She is survived by a daughter, Amy Amory and her husband Samuel Amory; sons, Mark and Robin Ferrara, Robert and his wife Suzanne, Jeffrey and his wife Colleen, Gregory and Dawn Sadowy and David and his wife Dorinda; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

There will be a calling time 9:15 a.m., followed by a memorial Mass of Christian burial 10 a.m., Nov. 26 at the church, 618 Fullerton Ave., Whitehall, 18052.
