Many consider the NFL to be the most popular professional sports league in the country.
Everyone, it seems, has a favorite team and a favorite player - including people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Many of the individuals served by LifePath are passionate football fans, with most supporting the Philadelphia Eagles.
Throughout LifePath’s 88 residential group homes, community-based programs, in-home supports and day programs, the individuals whom LifePath serves in the community gather in front of their TVs on Sundays to cheer on their favorite team.
When asked which player is their all-time favorite, many are quick to respond: Donovan McNabb, a former quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles.
McNabb will be the keynote speaker at the 25th annual PICPA LifePath Thanksgiving Benefit Luncheon Nov. 23 at the Delta Hotel, Breinigsville, and the folks at LifePath couldn’t be more excited.
McNabb will visit LifePath before the luncheon to greet some of his most devoted fans.
To show their passion for Donovan and to the Eagles, many of the individuals throughout LifePath’s programs have decorated their homes and program spaces to show their passion.
Several LifePath group homes and programs have submitted photos of their decorations.
