earns merit scholarships
Known for academic rigor, Albright College, Reading, is celebrating the hard work of the following top-achieving high school applicants by awarding them academic merit awards.
The college’s Admission team considers Grade Point Average to be a primary indicator of motivated students of academic promise.
Presidential scholarships are offered to students with outstanding academic records and generally rank in the top five percent of their graduating class and demonstrate strong leadership skills and a commitment to service.
Dean’s scholarships are offered to students with excellent academic records who demonstrate a commitment to school and community involvement.
Allentown: Anna Saunders has earned a $19,000 annual presidential scholarship. Currently attending Lehigh Valley Charter High School For Arts, Saunders is interested in studying psychology, health psychology, political science and/or pre-law, and Exzavier Spear has earned a $17,000 annual dean’s scholarship. Currently attending Lehigh Valley Academy Regional Charter School, Spear is interested in studying psychology, sociology, criminology and/or legal studies;
Breinigsville: Isabella Panarello has earned a $17,000 annual dean’s scholarship. Currently attending Parkland High School, Panarello is interested in studying evolution and animal behavior and/or psychobiology general, and Jonathan Zhang has earned a $17,000 annual dean’s scholarship. Currently attending Parkland High School, Zhang is interested in studying pre-medical. Biochemistry, and/or biology, biotechnology;
Germansville: Isabella Teprovich has earned a $19,000 annual presidential scholarship. Currently attending Northwestern Lehigh High School, Teprovich is interested in studying early childhood education and/or elementary education; and Orefield: William Meeker has earned a $19,000 annual presidential scholarship. Currently attending Parkland High School, Meeker is interested in studying education and/or mathematics.
