Russell J. Haas, 95, of Whitehall, died Nov. 6, 2022, in Riverton Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Allentown. He was the husband of Virginia M. (Sinsky) Haas for 65 years.

Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late George Sr. and Lillian (Singer) Haas.

He was in the U.S. Army.

He was a manager for Hoch Contracting for many years.

He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Allentown.

He was a member of American Legion Post 367, Fullerton.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Michael; two grandchildren, Tara and husband Matt Golitko and Scott and wife Amanda; and three great-grandchildren, Prissyla, Leighton and Tibyas.

He was predeceased by two brothers, George Jr. and Arthur.
