Richard L. Mundo, 82, of Whitehall and formerly of Moorestown, died Nov. 4, 2022, at Fellowship Community. He was the husband of Mary Lou (Boyle) Mundo for 57 years.

Born in Chicago, he was a son of the late Frank and Helen (Gondela) Mundo.

He was in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

He worked for the U.S. Postal Service and was a dispatcher and salesman for various freight companies until he retired.

He was a director of the Sweet Adelines in Michigan and Allentown. He was a bowling instructor and team coach at the Rose Bowl for youth.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Cheryl Pierce with husband George of North Catasauqua and Christopher Mundo with wife Heather in Florida; five grandchildren, Catherine, Maggie, Joey, Aidan and Georgie; and a brother, Robert Mundo of Arizona.

There will be a gathering 10 a.m., followed by a service, Nov. 21 in the Zentz Center, Fellowship Manor, 3020 Fellowship Drive, Whitehall.
