Joan Jones, 85, died Oct. 29, 2022, at DevonHouse Senior Living, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Robert T. Jones, who died in 2020. Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Dzialo) Swiech.

She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Emmaus.

She is survived by children, Robert, Walter, Marla and her husband, John Kurtz; grandchildren, Lexi, Zack, Graham, Erin, Jason and Jenna.
