Whitehall Active Community Center, 2301 Pine St., Whitehall, will be holding a Christmas-themed monthly cash bingo Nov. 27. Doors open 1 p.m., and bingo begins 2 p.m.

Refreshments will be available for purchase.

There will be tricky trays, a 50/25/25 raffle, door prizes and a free gift. There will also be a piggy number and two lightning games. The last special of the day is a progressive game, playing first for bingo and corners, then the coverall jackpot for $200.

We are asking our bingo players to bring a nonperishable food item for Whitehall Food Pantry at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church.

Note: There will be no bingo in December.

Semisweet-chocolate-covered peanut butter or coconut cream eggs can be ordered in full- or half-pound sizes.

The deadline to order is Nov. 27, and delivery will be Dec. 18 following church services.

St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church is celebrating Confirmation 4 p.m. March 23, 2023.

Bishop Alfred Schlert will administer the sacrament to the parish Confirmandi. Consider being a prayer partner by praying for them each day and writing a congratulatory note that can be given to them on their Confirmation day.
