PTA book fairs are continuing in Northampton Area School District. Book sales for Moore and Lehigh elementary schools will take place during library classes and other specials.

Moore Elementary’s fair continues through Nov. 18. Moore will also have sales during parent-teacher conferences.

Lehigh Elementary’s is now through Nov. 21.

Moore students and staff are invited to wear orange and black for a spirit day Nov. 18.

The Moore PTA group is hosting a family movie night featuring “Luca” 6:30 p.m. Nov. 18.

There will be no school for kindergarten through fifth-grade students Nov. 21-22 because of parent-teacher conferences.

On Nov. 23, there is an in-service day for teachers. No classes will take place for students. NASD will be closed for the remainder of the Thanksgiving holiday through Nov. 28.

The end of the first trimester for elementary grades is Nov. 22. Elementary trimester report cards will be available on Sapphire Dec. 9.

Northampton Area High School fundraisers are almost over. The Class of 2023 is running a football T-shirt fundraiser through Nov. 24 and is hosting an online Gertrude Hawk sale and candy bar sale through Nov. 24.

NAHS is looking for female students to mentor its Northampton Area Middle School students. Club Ophelia will start Jan. 17, 2023, and there will be a training in December. It is a 12-week commitment once a week after school.

If you are interested, pick up an application in the NAHS guidance office.
