Jacquelyn Ann Malik, 87, of Bethlehem, died in her home Nov. 2, 2022. Born in Marion, North Carolina, she was a daughter of the late A. Jack and Claudia (Sims) Hewitt.

She was a journalist and market analyst for many years until she retired.

She was a member of Rosemont Lutheran Church, Bethlehem.

She is survived by two daughters, Deirdre Sumpter (Christopher Jones) of Bethlehem and Elisa Jarrell of Durham, North Carolina.; a sister, Rachel Bockert of Wilmington, North Carolina; and two grandsons, Ryan and Dylan Jarrell.

She was predeceased by two brothers, A. Jack Hewitt and Thomas Hewitt.
