Edward Allen Senick, 63, of Bethlehem Township, died Oct. 6, 2022. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Edward and Sandra (Walk) Senick.
He was a 1977 graduate of Freedom HS. and Bethlehem Vo-Tech, where he was awarded first place in the Pennsylvania state-wide welding competition.
He was an U.S. Navy veteran. He served on an LST in the Persian Gulf in 1979 during the Iranian Hostage Crisis and was awarded the Shellback designation.
At an early age, he was employed at the family business, Senick Inc., Bethlehem Township. He worked later for other excavating companies throughout the Lehigh Valley.
He was a former member of East Hills Moravian Church.
He drove solo across the country in the 1990s and practiced his photography at the Grand Canyon. He raced dirt bikes at motocross competitions in his late teen years.
He is survived by a daughter, Juliet; a sister, Linda Serfass; and a nephew, Gregory Serfass, all of Bethlehem Township.
