Barry R. Griffin, 72, of Neffs, died suddenly on Nov. 5, 2022.

He and his wife, Vickie L. (Brader) Griffin, were married 10 years on Aug. 28.

Born Aug. 2, 1950, in Reading, Berks County, he was the son of the late Earl Raymond and Virginia Jeanette (Ubil) Griffin.

He was a district manager for Atlantic Security, Allentown, for many years before retiring in 2012.

He loved entertaining, specifically singing karaoke and dancing.

An avid outdoorsman and a member of the NRA, he loved staying fit and working out in his home gym.

He will be remembered forever for always putting everyone else first, specifically his family who will miss him very much.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Garrett R. Griffin (Elena) of San Diego, Calif.; daughter Karly A. Griffin of Emmaus; stepsons Neil E. Beehrle (Karie) of Oley, and Allen G. Beehrle of Neffs; stepdaughters Melissa A. Santiago and Nichole M. Beehrle, both of Tamaqua; sister Robin L. Kocher (Jay) of Kutztown; and grandchildren Verity, Alyssa, Jasmin, Leo, Neil Jr. and Aubrey.

His service will be private, at the convenience of the family. There will be no public calling hours.

Interment will be at Laureldale Cemetery, Reading.
