Moore Elementary School will be celebrating World Kindness Day Nov. 14. Students and staff will celebrate the importance of kindness in our daily lives.

Mark your calendar - the next spirit day is Nov. 18. Wear orange and black!

Lehigh Elementary School PTA will have its book fair Nov. 14-21. Book sales for students will take place during library classes.

Moore Elementary PTA is hosting a family movie night 6:30 p.m. Nov. 18. The movie will be “Luca.” Come join the fun!

There will be no school for kindergarten through fifth-grade students Nov. 21-22 because of parent-teacher conferences.

On Nov. 23, there is an in-service day for teachers. No classes will take place for students.

Northampton Area School District will be closed for the remainder of the Thanksgiving holiday through Nov. 28.

The end of the first trimester for elementary grades is Nov. 22. Elementary trimester report cards will be available on Sapphire Dec. 9.

NAHS fundraisers are underway. The Class of 2023 is running a football T-shirt fundraiser through Nov. 24 and is hosting an online Gertrude Hawk sale and candy bar sale through Nov. 24.

NAHS is looking for female students to mentor its Northampton Area Middle School students. Club Ophelia will start Jan. 17, 2023, and there will be a training in December. It is a 12-week commitment once a week after school.

If you are interested, pick up an application in the NAHS guidance office.
