Coplay: American Club plans Nov. 11 dance
American Club of Coplay, 300 Cherry St., will hold a dance, featuring Common Bond, Nov. 11. Doors open 5 p.m. The band plays 7-10 p.m.

If you ordered a drive-thru baked ham dinner, pickup is set for 4-5:30 p.m. Nov. 12 in the church parking lot at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 18 S. Third St. The dinner includes baked ham with a baked potato, green beans, applesauce, a roll and dessert.
The deadline to order was Nov. 4.
The meal is by donation.

The Coplay Saengerbund, 205 S. Fifth St., is planning a country-western dance, set for 3-6 p.m. Nov. 13. Entertainment will be from Joe Kroboth Band.

The 56th annual community Thanksgiving service will be held at Redeemed Christian Church of God, 17 N. Third St., 7 p.m. Nov. 20.
All residents, of all faiths, are invited to this ecumenical event.

Coplay Recreation & Welfare Association invites you to its annual holiday tree lighting, set for 6:30 p.m. Dec. 1 at borough hall.
The tree will be lighted, then Santa will move everyone inside for a lively musical night of entertainment by Lorri Woodward and Rob Ballonoff. Come out and sing along to your favorite Christmas carols. Dancing is permitted at this fun-for-the-whole-family event.
Light refreshments will be served after the program, and all children receive a small gift bag.
