Ann L. Micklus, 87, of South Whitehall Township, died Nov. 3, 2022, in Allentown. She was the wife of Francis J. Micklus. They were married for 67 years. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Robert E. Farrell and Lola (Wagner) Farrell.

She was a graduate of Allen High School, Class of 1953. She worked for Lehigh Portland Cement Company and then as a buyer for the former Hess’s Department Store.

She was a member of St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church, Allentown, where she was a charter member.

She loved to cook and bake, enjoyed spending her winters in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, playing bridge with her church group and was active in helping disabled children.

She is survived by her husband; daughters, Lee Ann and her husband, Ray Petrowski, of Lewes, Del. and Bethann and her husband, Joe Merola, of Old Saybrook, Conn.; granddaughters, Jennifer Vogel, of Pittsburgh and Candace Laferty, of New Jersey; great-grandsons, Mason and Holden; her beloved dog, Maggie. She was predeceased by brothers, William and Robert and a sister, Mary Remmel.

Services are private. Arrangements were made by the Trexler Funeral Home, Allentown.
