Emery “Jimmy” I. Dancsecs, 87, of Lower Macungie Township, died Oct. 26, 2022, in his home. Born in Rabakethely, Hungary, he was a son of the late Imre and Maria (Kovacs) Dancsecs. He was the husband of Eleanor T. (Kerecz) Bodner Dancsecs for 29 years.

He was a millwright for the Bethlehem Steel Corp. for over 31 years until he retired in 1997.

He was a member of Holy Ghost Church, Bethlehem.

He was a member of the United Steelworkers.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Matthew Dancses and his wife Maritza of Mountain Lakes, New Jersey; a daughter-in-law, Oahn Rachel Dancsecs of Huntingdon Beach, California; two daughters, Barbara Stettler and her husband Raymond Jr. of Bethlehem and Diane Kehm and her husband Ted of Macungie; 14 grandchildren, Dylan, Sophia, Donovan, Alexander, Ethan, Derek, Keith, James, Joshua and his wife Elizabeth, Jacob, Emily, Rachel, Alexandra and Grace; a great-granddaughter, Ella; a niece, Cindy Himpler and her husband Frank; and a nephew, Victor Hauser and his wife Sandra.

He was predeceased by two sons, James Dancsecs and William Bodner; and two siblings, Julius Barna and Margaret Hauzer.
