Carmen L. Lugo, 93, of Bethlehem died Oct. 30, 2022. Born in Utuado, Puerto Rico, she was a daughter of the late Hortencia (Cintron) and Narciso Lugo.

She was co-owner of La Favorita grocery store on East Third Street. She was a seamstress for many years.

She was a member of Holy Infancy Church.

She is survived by three daughters, Elizbeth “Elly” Vazquez and her husband Hector, Alicia Rivera and Marilyn “Lily” Cofre; two brothers, Mariano and Juan Lugo; a sister, Gladys Lugo; six grandchildren, Kristin, Erik, Monica, Hector Jr., Veronica and Jonathan; and nine great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Valentina, Sergio, Ivanna, Hector, Mariah, Kaiden, Azel and Noah.
