Ronald K. Raymond, 80, of Bethlehem Township, died Oct. 29, 2022. Born in Oak Park, Illinois, he was a son of the late Ruth (Lefeber) and Keefe H. Raymond. He was the husband of Beverly J. Raymond for 49 years.
He graduated from RCA Institutes and earned bachelor and master’s degrees from Penn State University.
He was member of the United States Army.
He was an electrical engineer and worked mainly with semiconductors.
He played the trombone in many local bands including the Municipal Band of Bethlehem, Moravian Trombone Choir, the Dave Neith Orchestra and the Liberty HS Alumni Band. He participated in TAPS Across America.
He was a member of The Quarter Century Wireless Association and Ham Radio Rooster Net. He was a past member of the Delaware-Lehigh Amateur Radio Club and the Masons. He operated ham radios.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Jennifer; a brother, Timothy Raymond; a sister, Diane Raymond; in-laws; nieces; nephews; great-nieces; and great-nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister, Sandra Widdop.
