Jean M. Bachman, 80, formerly of Slatington, died Oct. 29, 2022, in Brookmont Healthcare Center, Effort, Monroe County.

She was the wife of the late Richard H. Bachman.

Born Aug. 15, 1942, in New Tripoli, she was the daughter of the late Ralph C. and Arlene L. (Kressley) Christman.

She was a bookkeeper at The Neffs National Bank from 1990-2016.

Before that, she worked at the former Fogelsville National Bank for five years.

She was a member of Heidelberg Union Church, Heidelberg Township.

Her survivors include a daughter, Donna J. Pfrom and her husband, Guy, of Slatedale; son Steven R. Bachman and his wife, Kimberly, of Slatington; sister Linda F. Reichert and her husband, Larry, of Lenhartsville; brother Richard R. Christman of New Tripoli; granddaughter Kristy L. Pfrom and her fiancé, Brandon Conlon, of Lehighton.

She was predeceased by sisters Dolores A. Heffner and Ruth Ann Graff.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Nov. 8 in Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, with the Rev. Michelle G. Funk officiating.

Family and friends may pay their respects 9:30 a.m.-11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.

Interment will follow the service at Heidelberg Union Cemetery, Slatington.
