Gallery View: Renzo Faggioli, Lisa Fraenkel ‘Class Act’ at Baum School of Art

“A Class Act: Mentor & Mentee” features the ceramic works of Baum School of Art longtime instructor Renzo Faggioli and his dedicated student Lisa Fraenkel, through Nov. 12, David E. Rodale and Rodale Family Galleries, Baum School of Art, Allentown.

Faggioli, a master ceramist, has been on The Baum School of Art’s faculty for nearly 50 years. He has mentored Fraenkel for 20 years.

Educated in Italy; Carnegie Mellon, and Alfred University, Faggioli also taught at Moravian University.

Although she considers herself as a “lifetime student,” Fraenkel taught art at the Jewish Day School of the Lehigh Valley, Allentown. She received a BFA from the University of Buffalo.

Fraenkel is on the Baum School of Art board of trustees. She and her husband Barnet Fraenkel will be honored for their contributions to the Baum School at the school’s Fall Gala, Nov. 12.
