Mr. Becker, with Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, is looking for volunteers interested in Christmas caroling for the Catasauqua tree-lighting ceremony.

Volunteers are needed for 7 p.m. Nov. 3, 10 and 17 for rehearsals. There will be a final rehearsal 7 p.m. Dec. 1.

The event will take place Dec. 4, and volunteers will meet 4 p.m.

The Catasauqua Community Cares Program is looking for new and gently used coats for Catasauqua Area School District students.

Donations can be dropped off at the school district office, 201 N. 14th St., between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. until Nov. 10.

The group is in need of adult-size jackets for Catasauqua Middle School and Catasauqua High School students but will accept all sizes.

The distribution will be 9 a.m.-noon Nov. 12 at the school district office.
