Francis “Boomer” J. Hart Jr., 81, of Northampton, died Oct. 22, 2022, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem.

Born in North Catasauqua, he was a son of the late Francis J. Hart Sr. and Lillian Frickert.

He was in the U.S. Navy.

He was a member of Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, Catasauqua.

He is survived by a daughter, Kymberley Ballato; a sister, Sandra Smith; nieces; and nephews.

He was predeceased by a sister, Patricia Callahan.

There will be a visitation 10:30-11:30 a.m., followed by a service 11:30 a.m., Nov. 19 at the church, 604 Fourth St., Catasauqua, 18032.

Contributions may be made to the church’s pastor discretionary fund.
