Kyeemah J. Lane, 20, of Allentown, is charged with Homicide by Vehicle While Driving Under the Influence, a felony of the second degree and related charges following an accident around 12:04 a.m. July 17. Bethlehem Police were called to a two-vehicle crash in the 2000 block of West Union Boulevard.

Lane was driving a Kia Optima east when she crossed over a raised concrete divider and traveled into the opposite lane of travel. Her car struck a motorcycle operated by Scott C. Bitting, 44, and a passenger, Myria Lynn Bieber, 42.

Bitting died approximately one hour after the crash. The cause of death was multiple blunt force trauma and his death was ruled accidental by the Lehigh County Coroner. Bieber suffered a femur fracture and other related injuries as a result of the crash.

Inside Lane’s car were two passengers – Zianna Nereida Figueroa and Kiara Najai Nazario – both age 20.
