Lucille Anna Laudens-
lager, 92, of Orefield, died peacefully Oct. 18, 2022, in Parkland Manor, South Whitehall Township.
She and her husband, Elwood F. “Sonny” Laudenslager, were married 71 years.
Born July 18 1930, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Luther J.C. and Anna I.I. (Guth) Miller.
She was a 1949 graduate of the former South Whitehall High School.
Before her marriage, she was a teller at the former First National Bank of Allentown and later served as secretary/treasurer of E.F. Laudenslager Inc., Orefield, for many years.
A member of Jordan Evangelical Lutheran Church, Orefield, she taught Sunday School there for 25 years.
She also was a former Cub Scout Den Mother and former member of the Parkland Garden Club.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by children Stephen E. Laudenslager and his wife, Joy, of Slatington, Karen L. Thirion and her husband, Timothy, of Belle Plaine, Minn., and Teresa J. Laudenslager and her husband, Michael Kuncio, of Macungie; brother Donald L. Miller and his wife, Paulette, of Orefield; grandchildren Joshua, Marci, Chelsea, Laure and Nichole; and great-grandchildren Grayson, Addison, Taylor and Ivan.
She was predeceased by siblings Paul Miller, Jean Jacoby and Gloria Jarrett.
