Julia Ann Hill, 87, from Heidelberg Township, died peacefully on Oct. 18, 2022, in her home.

She and her husband, Arlan H.C. Hill, were married 66 years in March.

Born Dec. 12, 1934. in Slatedale, she was the daughter of the late Kermit and Caroline (Mack) Mack.

A 1952 graduate of the former Slatington High School, she was the secretary to the superintendent at Northwestern Lehigh School District for 30 years before retiring in 1994.

She was an active member of Heidelberg Union Church, Slatington.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by a daughter Debra C. Aardewijn of Heidelberg Township; daughter-in-law JoAnn Hill of Germansville; sister-in-law Judith A. Mack of Slatington; grandchildren Allison Davis (Chad), Jessica Hill Van Hooker (Steve), Lauren Aardewijn, Ryan Aardewijn (Heather), and Natalie Garwood (Kameron); great-granddaughters Hallie, Emory and Nora; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her son, Alan R. Hill, son-in-law Martin C.A. Aardewijn and brother Henry J. Mack.
