Sheckler Elementary School’s lost-and-found section is overflowing with students’ clothing items that are waiting to be claimed. Photos of the missing items have been posted to the school’s Facebook page, and parents/guardians are encouraged to take a look to see if any items belong to their child.

The lost and found can be found outside of Sheckler Elementary’s front office.

Reminder: Sheckler students will march in a Halloween parade starting 1:30 p.m. Oct. 28. Costumes should not show injury, blood or pain. There will be no weapons or fake weapons allowed during the parade march.

Class parties will follow directly afterward.

Catasauqua Area School District has announced the start of a school bus safety program, to begin Oct. 31. All school buses will be equipped with safety technology, such as stop-arm cameras that will detect the license plates of drivers that illegally pass the stopped school buses.
