John Paul Beacher, 70, of Northampton, died Oct. 24, 2022. He was the husband of Marie Jenkins-Beacher for 42 years.

Born in Shenandoah, he was a son of George “Buddy” and Victoria “Tush” (Twardzik) Beacher.

He worked for more than 50 years in the beverage industry until he retired.

He was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church.

He was a lifetime member of the Hogan Social Club.

He is survived by two children, Nina and partner Jeffrey “Doug” West of Philadelphia and Jacob and partner Yamira Lopez of Allentown; a granddaughter, Liliana Beacher of Whitehall; four siblings, George “Michael” and Lorna Beacher of James Island, S.C., Joseph and Kathy Beacher of Shenandoah, Elaine and John Harkins of Gordon and Barbara Eiche of Frackville; nieces; and nephews.

There will be a viewing 10-11 a.m., followed by Mass 11 a.m., Oct. 27 at the church, 618 Fullerton Ave., Whitehall.
