Do you have books that are gently read that you would like to donate to the library? We are happy to accept them, and you do not have to wait until a book sale is announced to bring them in. We also accept DVDs and CDs.
For your safety, drop them off at the circulation desk during open hours.
We no longer accept VHS tapes, encyclopedias or textbooks, as well as torn, dirty, marked or written-in items. We cannot get odors, such as smoke, mildew or mold, out of books. We also cannot sell out-of-date books, such as medical books.
Call the library or see our website for our donation guidelines.
If you want to know if you have a book that has monetary value before donating it, try starting with bookfinder.com.
Our next sale will be in April 2023.

We always have fiction and nonfiction books, CDs, DVDs and seasonal items for sale in between our fall and spring sales. Prices are the same as the big sales.
Look for the sale shelves at the front of the circulation desk and on a special book sale cart at the front of the desk. Ask if you have trouble locating them.

Our library participates in the Amazon Smile program. Whenever you shop on Amazon, the program will donate 0.5% of the cost of your eligible purchases to the library. It is an easy, convenient way to contribute to the library with no added cost to you.

If you are vaccinated, you no longer need to wear a mask in the library. If you are not vaccinated, continue to wear a mask for your safety and the safety of others.
We also encourage maintaining social distancing to ensure everyone’s safety.

Unpleasant road conditions in this state can occur anytime now. Our local and state road crews try to keep up with keeping the roads clean and safe, but all of us have had experiences of driving or walking in nasty weather.
The library does not follow the school schedule for closings.
We list early and whole-day closings on WFMZ television, wfmz.com/stormcenter and on our Facebook page. Check those sources before you make a trip here.
No fines are charged for days we close early or are closed for the entire day or days.
