Enforcement results announced

The Pennsylvania State Police Troop M - Bethlehem recently announced the results of a Troop-wide traffic enforcement detail conducted Oct. 18 in the troop coverage area throughout Lehigh, Northampton and Bucks counties.

Results of the traffic enforcement detail are as follows:

•168 traffic citations issued

•76 warnings issued

•Four driving under the influence arrests

•One drug related arrest

•Eight Motor Carrier Safety Assistance Program inspections

The objective of this operation was to conduct aggressive, visible enforcement resulting in increased highway safety, according to a news release from Pennsylvania State Police.
