Carson F. Baer, 75, of New Tripoli, died peacefully Oct. 10, 2022, in his home.

He and his wife, Judith A. (Schappell) Baer, shared 36 wonderful years.

Born Nov. 7, 1946, in Germansville, he was the son of the late Franklin G. and Mabel I. (Snyder) Baer.

A potato farmer and truck driver, he co-owned the PA Potato Supply Co., New Tripoli, for many years before retiring.

He was a member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by a son, Todd L. Baer and his fianceé, Nichole Khalil, of New Tripoli; daughter Amy L. Baer and her companion, Jeff P. Chandler, of Edgewater, Md.; sister Carol M. Snyder of Germansville; stepson Kerry L. Hemerly of Lexington, S.C.; grandchildren Nicholas B. Baer, Madeline R. Szanyi; two nieces; one nephew; and one great-niece.

He was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Howard J. Snyder.
