EHS names student of the week

Q. In what grade are you currently enrolled?

A. I am currently enrolled in 12th grade at Emmaus High School.

Q. Please provide the first names of your family members: parents, siblings and pets.

A. My family consists of two wonderful parents, Jason and Nicole Martin, along with my brother Mason Martin and my three dogs Kingston, Louis and Blu.

Q. What is your favorite subject? Why?

A. My favorite subject is science, specifically anatomy. I love anatomy because I think it is exhilarating to learn all about the human body and what consists of it.

Q. Have you received any special awards or recognition?

A. I received the “All American” award at a cheerleading camp in ninth grade.

Q. Are you involved in any extracurricular activities? How has being involved in this these organizations impacted your high school career?

A. I have been on the Emmaus High School cheerleading team all four years of my high school career. I participate in not only spirit cheerleading but also competition cheerleading. I have met many people through the organization and have built lasting bonds with both my coaches and teammates.

Q. What do you consider your biggest challenge to date?

A. I think my biggest challenge to date would have to be losing my grandmother unexpectedly in August. My grandmother taught me many life lessons and was one of the most influential people in my life.

Q. What is your next goal after high school?

A. My next goal after high school is to go to college to earn my physician assistant master’s degree.

Q. Whom do you admire? Why?

A. I admire my parents because they have guided me through life and taught me many valuable lessons, making me the successful young woman I am today.

Q. For what would you like to be remembered?

A. I would like to be remembered for my hard work ethic and integrity.

Q. Do you have any advice for your peers?

A. A piece of advice that I have for my peers is to never give up on yourself or your passions. Life will throw curve balls your way, and how you overcome them is what makes you a stronger individual.
