Salem United Church of Christ of Moorestown, 2218 Community Drive, Bath, has been celebrating its 250th anniversary all through 2022.

The building has grown since 1772 and the people are different throughout the years, but Salem’s faith is strong. During this anniversary year, Salem has had monthly events to celebrate this milestone.

There are three more events planned for the last months of the year.

There will be an official anniversary service 2 p.m. Oct. 23 in the sanctuary. Penn Northeast Conference ministers and past ministers will be involved in the service.

A display of family treasures and happenings at Salem will be available to all to see after the service.

Salem UCC will be holding this year’s community Thanksgiving service 7 p.m. Nov. 22. There will be a free light supper 5-6:30 p.m. This is a joint service with local congregations.

The last event is a Christmas open house 1-4 p.m. Dec. 10. Come see the church decorated for Christmas. There will be carolers, trumpet and organ music, refreshments and fellowship.
