The following college representatives will be available to meet with interested Catasauqua High School junior and senior students in the school’s cafeteria during the Rough Rider block: Delaware Valley University, Oct. 27; Lehigh Carbon Community College, Oct. 28; Shippensburg University, Nov. 7; Kutztown University, Nov. 14; and King’s College, Nov. 21.

Any student interested in speaking to any of these college representatives should report directly to the cafeteria, where attendance will be taken.

Reminder: Any CHS student who did not have his or her school picture taken Sept. 8 should attend the picture retake day Oct. 20.

If you had your picture taken Sept. 8 but would like them retaken, you should also attend Oct. 20.

There is still time to support the CHS varsity football team by purchasing tickets for its upcoming chicken dinner fundraiser. The ticket includes half of a roasted chicken, baked potato and creamed cabbage.

All orders are due by Oct. 24, with pickup scheduled for 3-6 p.m. Nov. 9 in the parking lot at CHS, 2500 W. Bullshead Road, Northampton.

Lehigh Career and Technical Institute is hosting an annual open house for all prospective high school students Oct. 27. The event runs 6-8 p.m. Doors will open 5:45 p.m.

Do you need gift cards for the holidays? If so, plan on attending the Catasauqua Area School District music department’s gift card bingo fundraiser Nov. 19 at CHS. Doors open 11 a.m., and bingo games will begin 12:30 p.m.

Tickets purchased in advance are only $15. All tickets sold at the door will be $20.

CHS yearbooks for the 2022-23 academic year are now available. Information and the link to order your yearbook can be found on the right side of the CASD’s home page, cattysd.org.

Three ordering options are available. The deluxe package can be purchased for $73; the basic package can be purchased for $54; or you can purchase just the yearbook for $47.
