Raymond Richard Arey, of Catasauqua, died Oct. 8, 2022, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem.

Born in West Catasauqua, he was a son of the late George and the late Sallie (Frederick) Arey.

He was a Whitehall High School graduate. He attended business school.

He worked in the garment industry for many years before he retired.

He attended Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church.

He is survived by two sons, Christopher of Catasauqua and Matthew and wife Niki of Muhlenberg; four grandchildren, Amber, Kristina, Jillian and Anilyse; and three siblings, Calvin, June and Sallie.

He was predeceased by eight siblings, Maude, Pauline, Elwood, George, William, Albert, Betty and Robert.
