Miriam R. Wehr, 85, of Whitehall and formerly of Orefield, died Oct. 3, 2022, in Lehigh Valley Hospital Inpatient Hospice Care, Allentown. She was the wife of Donald E. Wehr for 66 years.

Born in Guthsville, she was the daughter of the late Warren H. and Rachel E. (Connor) Wertman.

She was a member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs.

She was a member of various horse and tractor clubs.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by four sons, Randal D. Wehr and his wife Danni of Alburtis, Dennis W. Wehr of White Haven, Jerry A. Wehr and his wife Patricia of Slatington and Timothy J. Wehr and his wife Lisa of Orefield; and eight grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a sister, Anna I. Evans.
