Fullerton: Bingo is scheduled for Oct. 23
The Whitehall Active Community Center, 2301 Pine St., will be holding a Halloween-themed cash bingo Oct. 23. The doors open 1 p.m., and bingo begins 2 p.m.
Refreshments will be available for purchase.
There will be tricky trays, a 50/25/25 raffle, door prizes and a free gift. There will also be a piggy number and two lightning, or quick, games. The last special of the day is a progressive game playing first for bingo and corners, then the coverall jackpot for $200.
Bingo players are asked to bring a nonperishable food item, which will be donated to Whitehall Food Pantry, located at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 3900 Mechanicsville Road.

St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, 618 Fullerton Ave., is sponsoring its famous steak sandwich meal. Cheesesteaks are available, including sauce, onions, pickles and hot peppers on the side.
Orders are due by Oct. 24, and pickup will be 4-5:30 p.m. Oct. 29 in the parish hall on Pershing Boulevard.

St. Elizabeth’s will be holding a trunk-or-treat event 6-7 p.m. Oct. 30. Setup is 5:30 p.m. in the church parking lot.
Relax and bring your lawn chairs and treats.

St. John’s United Church of Christ, 575 Grape St., is having a real potato filling sale for Thanksgiving dinner. Filling is sold in a 2-pound container.
The deadline to order is Nov. 6, and pickup is 3-5 p.m. Nov. 19 in Fox Hall or following church services Nov. 20.
