Doris J. Moyer, 88, formerly of Allentown and Mechanicsville, died Oct. 15, 2022, at Phoebe Home, Allentown.

She was the wife of the late Dale Moyer.

Born in Mechanicsville, she was the daughter of the late Irwin F. and Elsie M. (Masonheimer) Diehl.

She was employed in the housekeeping department of Fellowship Manor, Whitehall, for 14 years before retiring. Before that, she was an assembler at the former General Electric, Allentown, for 22 years.

She is survived by four children, Donna J. Bachman with Kevin of Palmerton, Douglas J. Moyer with Jennifer of New Tripoli, Debra J. Haas with Buddy of Schnecksville and Dawn J. Seland with Craig of South Whitehall Township; a brother, Dale D. Diehl of Allentown; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by five sisters, Fern C. Diehl, Lorraine R. Berta, Shirley F. Diehl, Jean L. Boyer and Mae E. Fehnel.
