The Friends of Catasauqua Parks group is hosting a haunted pool house and hayride event at Catasauqua Park and Playground.

The event is set for 7-9:30 p.m. Oct. 21, 22, 28 and 29 at the park, 501 American St.

Proceeds will benefit the park.

Catty Seniors Plus will meet 1 p.m. Oct. 26 at Slovak Center Social Club, 1233 Fifth St., North Catasauqua.

Doors open noon.

Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 604 Fourth St., is seeking volunteers and donations for its Halloween hot dog/hot chocolate giveaway, set for Oct. 29.

Don your Halloween gear or a warm winter coat to help out.

The George Taylor House, Lehigh and Poplar streets, will be the host of a Harvest and Haunts Festival 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Oct. 29.

There will be a craft fair, local food, trick or treat, costume contest and more.

Attendance is free.

The rain date will be Nov. 5.

Salem United Church of Christ, 615 Third St., is planning to hold a craft fair and basket raffle 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Nov. 12.

There will be crafts, food, books and more.
