Receiving stolen property
A 42-year-old male, of Fleetwood and a 44-year-old female of Douglassville, were found to have active arrest warrants against them in a traffic stop along Spruce Road, Upper Milford Township, 12:19 a.m. Aug. 25, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. According to authorities, the operator of the vehicle was allegedly driving under the influence of a controlled substance and the vehicle was reported as stolen.
Retail theft
A suspect attempted to remove items valued at $25.94 from Nordstrom Rack, 750 N. Krocks Road, Suite 303, Lower Macungie Township, 4:41 p.m. Sept. 6, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Identity theft
A resident of the 8900 block of Orchard Road, Lower Milford Township, received a check for unemployment benefits for which he did not apply, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Sept. 1.
A resident of Corning Road, Upper Milford Township, learned her personal information was used in an attempt to open an account with her brokerage company, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Aug. 5.
A resident of the 4100 block of South Fifth Street, Upper Milford Township, learned her name was used to open a bank account, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The resident notified police Aug. 3.
A resident of the 6700 block of Stone Croft Circle, Upper Milford Township, learned someone used the resident’s personal information to withdraw $20,000 from a bank account, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported June 13.
A resident of the 1300 block of Oak Drive, Lower Macungie Township, learned personal information was used to open a fraudulent bank account, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported May 23.
A resident of the 1600 block of Limeport Pike, Lower Milford Township, learned personal information was used to open a bank account, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported June 20.
A resident of Indian Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, learned personal information was used to attempt to apply for unemployment benefits after the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry contacted him, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported June 29.
A resident of the 3200 block of Sequoia Drive, Lower Macungie Township, learned an account was opened using her name, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The resident contacted police July 1.
Hit and run
An abandoned vehicle was towed from an accident scene along Kings Highway, Lower Milford Township, Sept. 4, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. A black 2022 Nissan Sentra was seen by troopers 9:33 a.m. after it struck a utility pole. No one was found at the crash scene. The vehicle was removed by Mechanic’s Plus Towing.
Theft
A former employee allegedly removed miscellaneous hotel property from Holiday Inn Allentown-Bethlehem, 4235 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported 1:41 p.m. Sept. 5.
Items were removed from a mailbox on Pioneer Drive, Lower Macungie Township, Aug. 11, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A resident of Hauser Road, Lower Macungie Township, learned a laptop computer he ordered was delivered but the package containing the computer was missing, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Aug. 24.
Drug possession
A Tobyhanna motorist allegedly had a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop near the intersection of Fish Hatchery Road and East Texas Road, Lower Macungie Township, 6:46 p.m. Sept. 1, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A male pedestrian allegedly had methamphetamine while he and another person were trespassing in a backyard at a residence on Scenic View Drive, Lower Macungie Township, Aug. 18, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 24-year-old female, of Scranton, was arrested for alleged possession of a small amount of marijuana and associated paraphernalia after troopers observed a vehicle parked in a parking lot of a closed business in the 5200 block of Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, 2:49 a.m. July 14, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A motorist allegedly had a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia during a sobriety checkpoint at Buckeye Road and Tank Farm Road, Upper Milford Township, 11:54 p.m. June 17, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Harassment
A 35-year-old female, of Allentown, allegedly sent multiple text messages to a former co-worker after being told to stop, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Aug. 21 at the state police station, Schantz Road.
A suspect was taken into custody after attempting to flee from police following an alleged road rage incident near German Road and Main Road West, Upper Milford Township, 5:23 p.m. Aug. 31, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 47-year-old male, of Allentown, was cited for harassment after he allegedly punched another person in the face at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 2:48 p.m. Aug. 8, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 26-year-old male, of Macungie, was charged with harassment after an alleged incident in the 3400 block of Brookside Road, Lower Macungie Township, 4:53 p.m. Aug. 3, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 26-year-old male, of Allentown, was cited for harassment after he allegedly shoved another person at Kuehne-Nagel, 8620 Congdon Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 12:50 a.m. Aug. 2, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 26-year-old male, of Macungie, was cited for harassment and criminal mischief after he allegedly threw a large rock through the rear window of a vehicle at a location on Chestnut Street, Upper Milford Township, 10:01 p.m. Aug. 8, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Criminal mischief
A resident of the 1400 block of Country Club Road, Lower Macungie Township, discovered her mailbox was damaged overnight Aug. 13, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Scam
A resident of Vista Drive, Lower Macungie Township, learned she was swindled out of $500 through an online scam involving a fake digital payment account service, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Aug. 30.
Defiant criminal trespass
A 55-year-old female, of Coopersburg, was arrested for defiant trespass after she allegedly entered a residence on Chestnut Hill Church Road, Lower Milford Township, through an unlocked door after being told multiple times in the past not to enter the home, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Aug. 1.
A 25-year-old female, of Macungie and a 31-year-old female, also of Macungie, were taken into custody after allegedly refusing to leave a residence after being evicted in the 3200 block of Woodmont Circle, Lower Macungie Township, 10:16 a.m. June 21, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Accident
A motorist escaped injury when he crashed his Ford F350 pickup truck into a concrete barrier after spilling his sports drink, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The motorist was northbound in the left lane of Hamilton Boulevard near the intersection with Kressler Road, Lower Macungie Township, 6:12 a.m. July 29 when he tried to take a sip and spilled the drink. He looked down at the spill, taking his eyes off the road and crashed into a barrier on the left side of the road. Stew’s Auto Body and Towing also responded.
