State Rep. Peter Schweyer, D-22nd, has announced his office will host its next monthly veterans outreach program from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 21.

A veterans outreach specialist from the American Legion will be in Schweyer’s office, 1501 Lehigh St., Suite 206, Allentown, to discuss programs and services available for veterans and their families, as well as the application process for the different services.

According to Schweyer, the specialist will also be available to discuss pensions, other forms of compensation, educational opportunities, health care and benefits.

Legion membership is not required to take advantage of the help.
