Miriam R. Wehr, 85, of Whitehall, formerly of Orefield, died Oct. 3, 2022, in Lehigh Valley Hospital Inpatient Hospice Care, Allentown.

She and her husband, Donald E. Wehr, were married 66 years.

Born April 28, 1937, in Guthsville, South Whitehall Township, she was the daughter of the late Warren H. and Rachel E. (Connor) Wertman.

She loved horses and thoroughly enjoyed riding them with her husband, and was a member of various horse and tractor clubs.

She was a member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by sons Randal D. Wehr and his wife, Danni, of Alburtis, Dennis W. Wehr of White Haven, Jerry A. Wehr and his wife, Patricia, of Slatington, and Timothy J. Wehr and his wife, Lisa, of Orefield; and eight grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her sister, Anna I. Evans.
