Dennis C. Dengler, 59, of Fogelsville, died Oct. 8, 2022, at home.

He and his wife, Denise A. (Pearson) Dengler, were married 30 years in June.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Clyde and Althea (Kressley) Dengler.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University and a Master’s in Business Administration degree from Rosemont College. He was a plant controller for Piramal Pharmaceuticals for many years, Avantor for 16 years, and Avery Dennison for 12 years.

A member of Weisenberg Lutheran Church, New Tripoli, he served on church council, the choir for nearly 50 years, treasurer for 25 years, and coached the church softball team for many years.

He ran the Good Shepherd Benefit softball tournament for many years, and was in the Penn State Alumni Band for Homecoming for 38 years.

He held several leadership positions with Boy Scout Troop 261 and was past president, vice president and treasurer for the Northwestern Lehigh Band Booster Club.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by children Dayna Dengler, of Boston, who attends the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, Danielle Dengler of Fogelsville, Derek Dengler of Newark, Del., who works for JP Morgan, and Darren Dengler of Fogelsville, who works for Naura Akrion, Allentown.
