Carl J. Reiter, 74, of Walnutport, died unexpectedly Oct. 4, 2022, at his home.

He was the husband of Linda L. (Murphy) Reiter.

Born April 2, 1948, in Allentown, he was the son of the late Joseph Reiter and Ann (Tracz) Frey.

He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War era.

A materials planner at Mack Truck Inc. for 40 years, he retired in 2008.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter Lindsay T. Reiter of Bethlehem; and son Christopher M. Reiter of Schnecksville.

His service will be private, at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.
